20th August 2010 Windsurfing: felixstowe manor Wind Direction: sw Wind Stength: F3 - F4 Surf / Sea State: flat swell Air Temperature: hot Sea Temperature: warm Weather: great Max Speed: steve says Distance Covered: 1 1/2 hrs (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Work spoil everything as got to manor at 5.00, loads there. started rigging 7.8M but wind eased so switched to 9.0M RSSL, bit big really, but the rocket 76 can take it, some full on broad reaches. Squiz says 22-25kts but I was flying and it was carnage:) Todays ar.e kissers was colesy, lord swain and Squiz. To be fair Squiz gave me a dreadful fright on a one mile drag race. I didn't shake him off, and I tried every trick I knew. The Isonic is quick Steve, no doubt about it. I just love the manor end, as the open sea for broad reaches is fantastic. U can drag race to Holland! I turned and was looking for Squiz but he went on to the bloody anchored ships miles away! Just wished I had a GPS and did the Dip run with him 5 MF'g ***** (forgot the redbull so knackered a bit early:( Colsey didn't like to look at my rear so he is looking out for a slalom board...sell him a dog board pls...its not fair... |
